Sunstar behind building 1 and a Basel Ferry: My images of Week 33 2020
After a well deserved break I’m back, and here are my instagram images of week 33
In this segment, I show the images which I posted this week on Instagram – along with some background information. I truly appreciate a like and a comment, if you like what you see consider following me @twj.st. In short: This week I have a sunstar peeking through from behind Roche building 1 – twice. And a third immage featuring the St. Alban ferry in Basel
Twjst.photo Week as a Video Summary
I’m creating a weekly video summary of my photographic week on my Facebook page. Head over there to check it out. As soon as it is published and I find the time, I will embed it below.

How do you get photographic inspiration in your everyday life? When you pass over the Wettsteinbridge in the morning, you can notice the sun between the two Roche towers, one still being built. My wife noticed and inspired me to a time-lapse during sunrise in Basel – handheld while walking along the bridge keeping the sun star at the rim of the building.Β This vertical shot is one of test images coming out of it. Do you like the sunstar effect when the sun is peeking past an obstacle and your aperture is small enough? I love the effect π€© When you pass over the Wettsteinbridge in the morning, you can notice the sun between the two Roche towers, one still being built. My wife noticed and inspired me to a project. Ferry πΆ
I guess this is a well-known photo location in Basel, judging by the many images I see on Instagram. I took this one while on a photocourse but am not completely happy with it. May have to come back and try again π Shot on π July 10th, 2020 using a πΈ Canon EOS R, edited in Lightroom
