BLT Tram and Powerplant in Birsfelden: My images of Week 29 2020
In this segment, I show the images which I posted this week on Instagram – along with some background information. I truly appreciate a like and a comment, if you like what you see consider following me @twj.st. In short: This week is a bit of a mixed bag. You’ll find an image of a BLT tram heading towards the railwaystation in Basel, an abstract shot of the facade of the Goetheanum and a drone shot overlooking the powerplant in Birsfelden.
Twjst.photo Week as a Video Summary
I’m creating a weekly video summary of my photographic week on my Facebook page. Head over there to check it out. As soon as it is published and I find the time, I will embed it below.
Split 11
I wandered through the city looking for a new photo spots. This place caught my eye because 1) the reflections in the buildings to the left are great and 2) the trams keep coming towards you for quite a long distance. Of the many images I chose this one where you see half of the tram 11 heading towards the railway station in Basel. Shot on π June 30th 2020 using a πΈ Canon EOS R, edited in Lightroom
Goetheanum Black and White
I’m not so sure about this image π. Any tips from your side how to edit it? There is something to it with the unusual shapes of this building, but all in all it does not yet speak to me…

My wife suggested I should maybe crop in more to get rid of the distractions on top and the bottom of the frame – very valid points. Someone else suggested to maybe rather go back and shoot the interior, seems to be much more interesting π€·ββοΈ
