Basel in the right light: sunrise, sunset or simply dramatic sky – My images of Week 34, 2020
In this segment, I show the images which I posted this week on Instagram – along with some background information. I truly appreciate a like and a comment, if you like what you see consider following me @twj.st. In short: This week the theme of my images are all about Basel in special light. Either a dramatic sky over the St. Alban ferry, or two droneshots from before the Corona Lockdown. One at sunrise and one at sunset. Which one do you like best?
Twjst.photo Week as a Video Summary
I’m creating a weekly video summary of my photographic week on my Facebook page. Head over there to check it out. As soon as it is published and I find the time, I will embed it below.
Dramatic Ferry πΆ
Same location as the previous image at the St. Alban Ferry in Basel, but a few minutes earlier. For a short time the sky was rather dramatic with light rays shining on the minster in the background. Shot on π July 10th, 2020 using a πΈ EOS R, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop – blend of different exposures.
Winter Sunrise π
This is an older image from February this year – you know when Corona was only ravaging in Asia… π For the ones that know Basel you will notice how small building 2 still is next to its older brother building 1. Shot on π February 22nd, 2020 using a πΈ DJI Mavic Air, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop – blend of different exposures.
Punchy Sunset π
An image before the Corona lockdown in Basel. If Iβm not mistaken, these are my last drone images before the lockdown happened. Building 2 is still very small and the setting sun is shining through the construction site. Shot on π March 13th, 2020 using a πΈ DJI Mavic Air, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop – blend of different exposures.
