Rising
I am running around Basel for longer than anywhere else during my life. But still I am surprised by the views offered when using my drone. Somehow my “inner map” of the city is distorted because I never realized how close the rising towers from Roche are to Aeschenplatz – which is where the drone was hovering above for this shot.

Intersection
Do you know where this is? There are a few hints, especially the building on the bottom left corner. This is probably one of the most complicated intersections in Basel, and looking only at one part from top down may give you an idea why this is. I must guess this was formed step by step trying to accommodate all the traffic streams. To think anyone would plan something like this deliberatelyโฆ ๐

Orange Roofs
Overlooking Wettsteinplatz towards the Messe I noticed how many red and orange roofs the city of Basel has. I took it a slight bit further in the color grade and tried to match them with the orange clouds in the sky.
