Comet Neowise over Basel
Now that’s an image you cannot take everyday. Comet Neowise was visible for the naked eye for a couple of weeks in 2020 and is bound to return in a couple of thousand years.
When NEOWISE passed earth in Summer 2020 I just had to try to get a shot. I’m glad that I had the chance to get an image. The sky was almost clear and the comet still bright enough. It hovered over the middle bridge (Mittlere Brücke) in Basel when looking down the Rhine during early night, barely bright enough to compete against the city lights.
