Drone Long Exposure Blending

The 49 second moment

The 49 second Moment
Have you ever wondered whether it is possible to take long exposure images with a drone? Yes, this is indeed possible – with a little trick. So keep on reading, you have come to the right place.
You are looking at a dynamic yet long moment of an early morning of a working day at Basel SBB as a long exposure image. This is a bigger project than meets the eye: For this image I carefully blended 7 images together in Photoshop. Each of those seven images was a combination of 7 photographs with 1 second exposure each and were averaged to give an artificial 7 second exposure. So all in all 49 (!) images were used to give this long exposure of Basel SBB result you are looking at.
